I had a truly superb view over the Santa Margherita Bay and back towards the Italian Riviera, hills, and Rapallo—all of which looked magnificent in the day and then sparkled at night. The rooms had some old and new furnishings with beautiful traditional Italian decor that I loved, although they could need a makeover. They were spacious, clean, extremely comfortable, and quiet—the perfect ingredients for a perfect night's rest while traveling in a beautiful setting like Santa Margherita.
